what we did today

we made the most easiest recipe for biscuits EVER !!!!!

4 oz 100g) butter or margarine
3 oz (75g) caster sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence ( or you can use lemon juice)
8 oz plain flour

Cream the butter/margarine and sugar.

Beat in the egg with the vanilla essence. Fold in the flour and form into a soft dough.

Roll out the dough

and cut into biscuit shapes. bake for 10 - 15 mins at 375F/190C/Gas mark 5. Leave until cold and then ice and decorate.

  3. My Hubby says it's essential to have a few *well done* biscuits in any batch as they are the yummiest in his book.

  4. biscuits sound yum! thans for popping over. it's not our first photoshoot so I've learned that the long exposures they use mean that cobwebs and dust just don't show - phew! Also our house is a new build that just look like it's old so it's much easier to keep clean - if I ever bother! t.xxx
