we made the most easiest recipe for biscuits EVER !!!!!
4 oz 100g) butter or margarine
3 oz (75g) caster sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence ( or you can use lemon juice)
8 oz plain flour
Cream the butter/margarine and sugar.
Beat in the egg with the vanilla essence. Fold in the flour and form into a soft dough.
Roll out the dough
and cut into biscuit shapes. bake for 10 - 15 mins at 375F/190C/Gas mark 5. Leave until cold and then ice and decorate.

Oh,yummy! The little ones must have loved making...and eating!...those. I use that recipe to make sweet pastry..it works a treat.

biscuits sound yum! thans for popping over. it's not our first photoshoot so I've learned that the long exposures they use mean that cobwebs and dust just don't show - phew! Also our house is a new build that just look like it's old so it's much easier to keep clean - if I ever bother! t.xxx
